Color Combos Galore is back !!

HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!!

I am sure many of you wondered what happened to Color Combos Galore when it just disappeared over night!...You may even have missed us...
Well, I have some good news for you, magically, almost overnight again; we are back!

I know many of you have found other favourite places to be during our absence but I hope that you will come back and check out the beautiful challenge that Janet has prepared for us.

For this festive combination of colours I created a boxed album. Or rather I decorated  a silver box that I will use to house a small tag album with my scrap resolutions for this coming year.

This is my box;

 I used some paper from my stash that is so old I don't even know who made it, but the series was called Domestic queen it seems,..

I covered the lid with the pp  and cut a strip to cover almost the height of the side of the box.
I wanted some of the original colour to show. I added a Maya Road rose trim to cover some of the dents I made in the paper.

 That gorgeous butterfly  that I painted white with my dabber is one of the exquisite pieces that Imaginarium Designs produce. I am absolutely in love with their chipboard!!
You can find the butterfly HERE

I added a doily, some flowers (Petaloo and stash ) and voila the finished box. I wrote 'Scrap Resolutions'  in 'CosmoCricket' tiny letters.

Now I have to go off and think a little more about what are my scrap resolutions are. I do know that I want to start submitting regularly both to magazines and design teams,
I have just been a bit lazy so far!!

Thanks for your visit.
I hope you will visit Color Combos Galore to see what changes Janet has made and as always  to read the fine print.
