"Spring is in the Air" Les papiers de Pandore "Cherry Chérie".

Another page is up on the "Les Papiers de Pandore" blog today!
This is my latest layout I did with Julie Blanc's lovely Spring collection called Cherry Chérie.
I just love the cloud-paper in this collection!! It makes me happy!
I wanted to make a fairly C&S page to let these recent photos of Beatrice shine as well as
the pretty papers of the Cherry Chérie collection.

The photos were taken a couple of weeks ago. It felt like the very first day of Spring.
My youngest daughter Beatrice prepared some tea and cinnamon-buns (from the freezer) and invited me to come sit with her outside in the garden.

Everything is from the collection except I used white Bazzil cadstock for my base.

I used sewing to attatch everything on my page. I fussy cut the cute clouds and the branch with hanging hearts and butterfly. These elements are part of the so usable elements sheet that normally come with the collections. To give them some extra umpfh I adhered them with pop dots.
The title word Spring is also cut from that sheet.

Some more close ups:

I think Beatrice looks so big here. She is 11 and a half and no little girl any more.

I am happy you dropped by to see me today so I could share my latest page with you.
I hope you liked it. Hope to see you soon again!

A layout for Sketchabilities using Pandore's "Cherry Cherie" "It Never Rains in Monte Carlo..."

Today I have a page to share that I scrapped with the latest collection from
Julie Blanc's Les Papiers de Pandore. It is called "Cherry Chérie".
I scrapped the page using a sketch from Sketchabilities as inspiration.
This is my page:

And this is the sketch from Sketchabilities:

My take on the sketch was pretty straight forward and here you can see some close ups.

As my journalling explains we were in Monte Carlo in Monaco on the French Riviera. We had dinner at the Café de Paris and the rain kept pouring down. I remember very well the noise made by the rain on the wonderful glass roof of the utterly posh restaurant. Outside the restaurant, and next to the famous Casino, they were selling these elegant umbrellas. The funny thing was they had a printed text claiming that "It never rains in Monte Carlo".I can so vouch for that not being completely true,...lol!

I used a small swirl from Imaginarium Designs that I painted a suitable shade of red using my paint dabber. There will be a link to the flourish at the bottom of my post.

Underneath my journalling is the trusted Cheery Lynn doily that is so well loved everywhere at the moment.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog. Have a great week!

"Your Smile Brightens my Day" Les papiers de Pandore, -"Cherry Chérie"

This is my first layout using the more clean/simple line of the two new releases from Las Papiers de Pandore. It is called "Cherry Chérie" and is very versatile. It is a perfect line to scrap the hopefully many beautiful spring/easter pictures we will have soon.

This collection has crisp clean lines and dots combined with script, clouds, bricks and lovely flowers to fussy cut. So yummy!

I used my trusted sewing machine and different border punches for this. I did not forget the fanfold flowers either,...lol!

I cut out the small aqua coloured letters from the elements sheet in the collection and that's where I got the ticket strip, too.

I fussy cut the springlike flowers and added a button with some twine to the centers.

That's all I have prepared for you today in this pre-scheduled post.
I hope you can read it all ok!

Thank you so much for taking the time to come and check out my ramblings!
I'll be back soon!

She's Growing up. -Mixing up the two new collections from Les Papiers de Pandore.

Hopefully this will work and Blogger will behave well and let me preschedule this post!
I am away for a few days visiting my eldest in the UK.
I am keeping my fingers crossed.... :-)

Lately I have had a lot of fun playing with all the new supplies that sweet Julie sent me from
Les Papiers de Pandore. This time I made a layout combining the two;

"Le Parfume de Camélias" and "Cherry Chérie"

It was snowing as I took my lo outside to photograph it. You can actually see  some tiny snowflakes on the brown brick-paper, that had not yet melted,...lol!

The little gate in the lower right hand corner is from Polish manufacturer Scrapiniec.
They come in white and I only inked a little on this one.

I quite like this picture of my little princess.
It's one of the photos from the photoshoot with the sweet and lovely Gisela Ackerup.

Hope your day is a good one!
