Last share of February Scraps of Elegance kit 'Love Always'.

Hello my friends, I have been a bad blogger lately.

To make up for that I'll share TWO pages today that I made with the February kit from Scraps of Elegance. 

I should have posted these already  a few days ago as there is a NEW wonderful kit out for March that I will share with you in a couple of days . I've been having some computer issues (Thank heaven for mobile phone internet so I can still keep in touch,...) but today I'm on the PC again!

I have used the 'Smitten' line from Authentique here as well as some bits from My Minds Eye Record It 'Heirloom'.

I prepared a few close ups ( if too many feel free to scroll down LOL!)

I used one of Ingvild Bolmes little metal zippers as an embellishment and lots of stamps ans flowers. 

I used a stencil to take break up the repeated pattern of hearts and make it  less obvious in some areas.

I used a series of three cute photos of youngest DD and our kitte, Lady. It's an easy way to add more that just the one photo to your page.

And now for my second page for today;

Even here the main papers are from Authentique. I think they nailed it with this line, and if you like you could even say I was 'Smitten',...LOL! Again I use a series of three pictures. These were taken in Stockholm when we went up for her students visa to the US. She has been across the big sea since October now and we can't wait to have her back here.

I used the chandelier sprays from the kit to make little sprigs of chrystals and roses. I was meaning to post a short picture tuturial and it may come one day next week.

There was a pot of lovely pink glitter in the kit, and below you can see how I added some to the Martha Stewart butterfly. The flowers all got a lick of white paint to make them a little more 'shabby'.

The title was cut using my Silhouette Cameo. 

The word 'Delightful' is a cutfile and 'Girl' is just simply written in my selected font and then cut.

I used the beautiful February kit from Scraps of Elegance 'Love Always' to make my page.

The papers are by MME collection 'Heirloom'. The chipboard heartframe was made especially for SOE by Leaky Shed. The small 'rose twigs I made with the Magnolia Chandelier Garland Pink & Light Pinkand some Kaisercraft roses in pink and black. 

In a couple of days I will share a picture-tutorial on how I did it. Very easy!!

I painted the frame with gesso and then with gold acrylic paint and my papers got the same treatment.

Scraps of Elegance February kit *Love Always*.

Hi friends!!

Today I want to share the first page of the month using the new and fabulous kit from Scraps of Elegance.I love the rich reds and pinks of the kit and it is lovely to create with!

Here is just a picture to show you what a beautiful kit this is. For my page I also used this months floral add-on.

 This is such a great kit for making Valentines projects and many more too of course.

 This is a mix of Autentique 'Smitten' and MME Lost & Found Record it! Collection: Heirloom

This is a fairly clean and simple page for me. 

I just felt like letting the beautiful papers and embellishments shine in their own right.

The red flowers are by Kaisercraft , the white and red ones are by Prima. The stickers are from the MME sticker sheet in the embellishment add-on. The title 'Adore you' was cut with my Silhouette Cameo.

Finally I would like to share with you that Scraps of Elegance kits now also has a Creativity add-on.
