Flowers for Mum". A page for Inkido.

Hi my lovelies!
I discovered that I forgot about this lo with some cute photos of Beatrice taken a few years back.
I made it for the Inkido blog , but at the time I had so much  else going on that I just didn't find the right moment to post it.

So here it is:

These pictures are among my favourites and one of the best things about not scrapping chronologically is that I can pick whatever photo takes my fancy :-

I used a lot of embellishments from Inkido here, like the different kinds of flowers and the metal leaf. I especially love the larger red rose among these.

The *Beautiful memories* collection, and actually most of the Inkido collections include papers with pretty little butterflies that are so good for cutting out and using as decorations on your page.
I decorated these blue ones with some Inkido bling. I layered my title by using two pieces
of Inkido paper with pop dots between and some fabric alphas by Prima.

This is a pre-set post but  I will be back in a day or two to share some photos from my trip with you.
Hopefully there will be some good ones!!

Hugs!!

CCG #219 "Kitty Love" "Authentique" "Uncommon"

,
Finally it's time again for a new colourful combination from Color Combos Galore.
Due to Janet suffering some very sad family events we have had a couple of weeks delay in posting the challenges, BUT NOW WE ARE BACK!! So sorry for your loss Janet!

We have some new colours for you this week as it is layouts/altered item/mini album week.
The news around CCG since we moved to Blogger is that we work with the same colours for two weeks, but have different design prompts, and week two is cards week.

This is the layout I created with the new colours.

And this is the inspiration board that you will need to take a closer look at :

I used one of my favourite collections lately called "Uncommon", which was made by "Authentique Paper". I also used some embossed white paper for my background and that green paper making up  a frame is from "Echo Park" "Victoria Gardens"

I made a few lollipop flowers as this was the designers challenge this time. They are so easy to make, but I did not have a ny material in the right shades so I took the easy way out and made mine white.
At least you can say it goes with everything!

I used an older premade die cut title from MME as it was the perfect colour match for the pink.
I just added the word kitty in some "Doodlebug" stickers

The journalling is just a few words about Beatrice still keeping interest in her little pet after more than a year. I did not expect anything less but, hey,..it's still good news!!
We all have a soft spot for that little furball!

Take care 'til next time!

Joy,.Les Papiers de Pandore and OUAS

I am a bit behind with my blogging lately!
Those of you who are frequent visitors here will know that it is due to my PC acting up on a regular basis.

Last period I was not required to make a lo for Once Upon A Sketch,
but I loved the sketch so much I had to give it a go anyway.

There is a new sketch up as of today and I will get back to that one in my next post, but decided that first things come  first and I will start with  my lo for Dec 1st. I already shared the sketc in a previous post.

Yesterday I could only share a sneak and this is what the whole page looks like:

Don't you just love the beautiful new collection from "Les Papiers de Pandore"?
It is called "En Attendent" ( Waiting ).
For those of you who live far away from France and don't know how to get hold of it I have some news.
Julie is sponsoring the current challenge over at OUAS.
Go over there and check out what you have to do to be eligible to win no less than TWO whole  collections from "Les Papiers dePandore"!!

We were supposed to journal about what we love and look forward to in December.
I chose to write about spending time with family and seeing the happiness shared by my children
 enjoing time together.
This holiday will be precious as Alexandra is coming home for the first time since going away
to University in the UK.

The cute flowers I made using a die from Marianne Design, a Dutch manufacturer. And the doilies were made with a die from Cheery Lynn Designs.

I love the little cut-outs and journalling spots from "En Attendent".
Together with the gauze and felt snowflakes they add a lot of dimension to my lo.
I chose to only add glue to the center and thus have the possibility to keep sticking things underneath
(and on top...) as my lo evolved.

I hope you enjoyed a little Christmas Joy here and that you also will experience a lot of that in your lives!
Thanks for dropping by!

"Snow much fun" "Les Papiers de Pandore" "En Attendent"

Tonight I have another page to share that I made using the new "Les Papiers de Pandore".
I like the slightly untraditional Christmas/Winter colours alot!

I used the different elements from the cut out sheet as decorations and added some glitter to enhance the wintery feel. The long strips are the pieces at the bottom that you would normally throw away, but here you cut them off to save them as they are the perfect colour accent.

I cut some circles and layered them. Around the outline I fastened a length of pretty white lace.
Again I used my new "Shape Boss" to help with the pleating to make the rosettes.

I layered the photo mat on top of the gauze to mimic snow. On both sides I stuck a journallingspot underneath the mat.

The gorgeous chipboard letters I love to use are from Imaginarium Designs. They are an Australian manufacturer with some awesome products. I used white acrylic paint to give a touch of Winter to the letters. Here and there , like on the small snowflakes I added some pearl dots.

You can find the alphas HERE

Here are some more close ups for you.......

The photos were taken last February when the whole family went to Norway, where I am originally from,
It was Beatrice's first time skiing. At first she was very excited, but then despaired when she disciovered it was hard. But when time came to call it a day she did not want to go home...The youngest learn very fast!

It's almost Friday,folks......I hope you'll have a lovely weekend.
Thanks for dropping by!

Halloween Fair in Copenhagen, for Les Papiers de Pandore.

Just a short post today I am afraid.
I am writing on a mini PC that at the moment is behaving really well, but is not really supposed to mwork with my large photos etc. I am  very much looking forward to have this problem sorted....

I used the charming collection "Promenons Nous" for this layout.

I used my sewing machine to add paper frames to the edges and get a lot of texture.   I dipped a piece of muslin in strong coffe to get the right colour brown, and draped it underneath my photos.

I cut the leaves from the patterned papers and added some flowers on top. I cut the letters from the sheet of embellishments, which I find so useful and such great value for money

The letter stickers were sewn on top of the muslin. I like the texture added by the seam and how it looks in between the other embellishments.

The photos were taken in Copenhagen last year when we went to the Halloween exhibition. It looks so beautiful and all the girls loved it there.

I really like he flower branches from Prima a lot.I have been hoarding this one and divided it into two pieces. I am saving one for later.

Just couple of more close ups. I am sorry you can't see this IRL because it was actually quite difficult to get a decent photograph......

I don't know what this post is going to look like ....,I hope it's ok. The letters keep sticking and sometimes I am thrown out completely.Ahh well,.... at least I posted something.....

I hope you are all enjoying your week end. Here in Sweden we are getting a short reminder of  what a glorious summers day can be like. We must enjoy it while we can.

Thanks for dropping by!!
