Hi, today I have a cpouple of pages to share made with the 'Raindrops on Roses' kit from
Scraps of Elegance. These are both using the same collection but the look is totally different.
My first page is in a classic pink/black/white combination.
Here are several close ups.
I know I love to look at close ups when I visit blogs so I'll assume you are the same :-)
The larger flowers are Prima and all from Scraps of Elegance kits, and even the grey and black
mini roses. The black chalkboard frames are by Melissa Frances.
I made the doilies with my Cheery Lynn dies. The title is made with a sticker from the sticker sheet. I just cut it into three pieces because that would look better on my page.
I used one of my new Sizzix dies to make the leaves. I like the 'strict' look of them.
And now for my second page for this post:
This is a much 'softer' page and the colours are very different as well. I used the lovely script-paper from the Authentique Paper collection called 'Pretty'.
The beautiful 'Dahlias' by Petaloo come in three shades of pink, and there is a packet of smaller ones too that look so adorable.
I have used a combination of die cut butterflies using awesome Sizzix dies, and some from the collection pack by Heidi Swapp that came with my kit. They are from the collection 'Dreamy'
The title I have used is also from the Heidi Swapp ephemera pack, as well as the little sparks and the patterned butterflies. The little sentiments are from the Authentique Paper sticker sheet.
I used gesso and three different stencils for this ayout and even some distress ink through a
stencil as well.
The swirl was made with a Sizzix die.
That was all for today! I hope you were not too overwhelmed by the many pictures :-)
Thanks for any comments you leave me. I always love to read your feed back!
Hugs!!
