Time for a new challenge based on a beautiful versatile sketch. We all like that,...right?
Before showing you the sketch I will share the layout I made from it.
IRL the green dots in the pink paper is much more visible, actually it all looks better IRL.
And here is the current sketch:
I copied this from the OUAS blog:

Some more photos of my layout:
I used a Spellbinder die for the white die cut element.
I love the look of the older swirls by Prima Marketing. They add a luxurious touch together wit the jewel colours. I even love the gingham ribbon in black.Black always look good paired with the stronger colours I think.
The Pink Paislee tissue paper adds such a touch of flimsy. I love the rouched paper strip. I added some lace on top to go with the black embellishment theme.
The yellow ball fringe is a favourite too.
The little images are cut out from a patterned paper belonging to the Pink Paislee/House of 3 collection called "Daily Junque". I inked around it with black ink too.
The yellow paper I use also comes from the same collection. The other papers belong to "Soiree" and "Hometown Summer".
I think I mentioned earlier how much I enjoy these collections of Pink Paislee.
Well, actually so far I think I have loved them all.... :o)
Here you can see the quote I chose for my layout. It was quite difficult to choose as there are so many wonderful quotes. I quite like this one though, and it was a gift from the smart and gifted Irma Peredne.
Thank you so much Irma!
Lately I find these pleated flowers so cute, I want to include them on all my layouts. I find them very useful too, when I try to use a little less flowers on my layouts and try to think of other embellishments to use. Many of us, me included, tend to put too many flowers on the page sometimes when it is not entirely justified. But the pages are very pretty of course! Do you know what I mean???
Love that little sweet contented face. It was taken on the first day of the school Summer holiday!
Thanks for your visit and any comment you may like to leave!
Enjoy your week !
