Today will be a pretty short and sweet post as far as words go...
Today we celebrate our beautiful Alexandra who was born in Santiago de Chile 21 years ago today.
We are having family over for dinner and I have a lot of preparations to do.....
Right now almost the whole DT from Les Papiers de Pandore is making a guest appearance at the Creative Scrappers challenge blog. We were given this lovely sketch by Kristine Davidsson as inspiration:
After turning the sketch on its side this is what I came up with:
I used mainly the "Urbanessence" collection from Pandore.
I seem to be doing a lot of pages in the blue/yellow combo lately....The whole base of my page is covered in gesso and I used a mask by Crafters Workshop. I love their masks,...all of them....
You will see little squirts and drops of mist here and there as well.

The swirls was made fro a row of pearls that I shaped and glued to the flower cluster.
The pretty buterfly is by Martha Stewart. I added some cheese cloth and misted with yellow Glimmermist. Underneath the flowers I put a rosette that I made using my Score Pal.
Don't you just love that cute green butterfly with the pearls.
So sweet. It came in one of the previous kits from My Scrapbook Nook.
I cut out the fountain from an older Webster's Pages paper. The picture was taken in 'our' little village in Provence and there are a lot of fountains in those parts.
The small brown butterflies were first punched out and then embossed.
It is kind of like a 'double punch'....(it is actually two different ones)
The letters for the title were die cut with a Tim Holtz/Sizzlits long die. I love that font!
Just a fun photo to see a little of how I do my layering and the texture.
All these beautiful blooms make me happy!
Some days ago I had a page requested as "Inspiration de Jour" for the CraftGossip.com blog.
Actually I remembered that I had one page on thet blog even last year :-)
The page is one of the recent ones I made with the September Nook kit.
Thanks Francine for sharing my page!
And thanks to you my scrappy friends for taking an interest in my creations.
I love being able to share my pages etc with you!
If I don't see you again before; Have a lovely week end!!
