"Sweetheart" for Les Papiers de Pandore .

Today has been a very busy day and it is not over yet.
This morning I drove Alex, DD1,  to the train as she was headed back to Warwick and university after long Summer break. After that I acted washing machine repair-woman and couch saleswoman as Alexandra had an ad in the paper about her sofa. Then work and all the usual runs here and there for all the girls' activities.... Oh, well. busy is good,...I think :-)

Today I have a layout to share that was made with a previous collection from Les Papiers de Pandore called Cherry Chérie. It is up on the Pandore blog today. The colours are very pretty and don't you just love that cloud paper?

Plenty of gesso here. I used a new Prima mask and after the gesso had dried I painted more gesso on top. When that was dry I smeared on some Maya Road mist with a sponge. Of course I added all the layers with help from my trusted sewing machine. I love how much texture it adds.

A collection of dainty lovelies here; Primas, Petaloos and some non branded mulberries too. The greyish letter stickers are by Jillibean Soup.

The tiny birds house is from the Pandore cut out sheet. The little fence is die cut with a die from Marianne Design. I outlined all the edges with a brown Promarker, and though it does not show much in the photos, in real life it adds a depth that makes the fence look like it's chipboard.
I added little 'nails' to the fence with liquid paper pen.

The little cutiepie in the photos is my goddaughter Nicole and the photos were taken just before her first birthday. She truly is a sweetheart!

I played with some cheesecloth and stuck it in between my layers.
I thought it would look fun together with the clouds.

Saturday Beatrice went to the joint birthday party of three of her class mates. I made three cute parcels and then decided to make some cards to go with them.
Even here I used the Cherry Chérie collection.

The cards are very simple so they can be easily to multiplied.
Just a mat with some patterned paper on top  and then a cute swirly die cut frame and some letterstickers. The frame die is by Sissix and the letter stickers are by October Afternoon.

Well done if you made it all the way here :-)
Quite a few pictures today, but hey...you said you like to look at pictures....

Thanks for dropping by my little blog and for any little message you may leave!

Oh yes, I almost forgot; I'll have some good news to share with you soon,...might involve a new DT perhaps *wink* I received some 'happymail' a few days ago.

  13. Tut tut he sure is one super cute little Superman, absolutely adorable!! My sewing machine hasn't recovered since it blew up on me during the summer hols and I've been too lazy to take it to repairs. Looking at your pages make regret it big time as my pedal foot is itching badly at the moment. I do love all your layers and texture, especially like the floral arrangement and the banner peeking out below. And the cards look absolutely smashing. Been far too long that I created any myself. Take care, have a fab Sunday! pusspusspuss
