You are fabulous! -for Papirdesign

When I  was first invited to the Papirdesign DT  I received a huge box of paper collections old and new as well as an enormous pile of gorgeous embellishmnt of different kinds. For the page in todays post I decided to dive deep into my box and pick a mixture of all the different papers. All those beautiful designs really deserve to get on a page now and then and not be forgotten!
I love this light blue girls page with my youngest DD.

I made this page with inspiration from the gorgeous sketch at Life. Paper. Scrapbook.

I really like the look of this paper with the weathered boards. Makes me think of Summer :-)
It actually was produced as part of a Winter-collection ... So versatile!
I layered several patterned papers with my photos on top. The embellishments are mainly from Papirdesign,...of course,...there is so much to choose from!!

The cute banners were cut from a patterned paper with banners and jeans-pockets.

I used popdots to lift my stars up from the page.

 I used:

 Vintertid - Iskrystall (woodboards)
Herman og Emilie - Lillebror
Lykke till
Konfirmant, gutt
Chipboard ord rosa,
Chipboard stjerner blå og rosa
Båndpakke, blå
Halvperler, blå/vit
Miniroser, diverse farger
Alfabet, rosa

My first page using the new Inkido collection 'Happy Christmas'.

'Liten tomte tittar ut' is the title of this new page and it is about Beatrice wearing her long Santa-hat that we had been looking to buy in so many places before we found it.

I used the latest beautiful collection from Inkido called ''Happy Christmas'' for this page.

The small chipboard is from Imaginarium Designs, and the large one is from Dusty Attic.
I made my title using the Silhouette Cameo. It has become such a fun tool to play wth!

I wanted to use the pretty tags on my page and ended up attatching them as an embellishment
with a large bow.

I just wanted to get this post up before leaving for work this morning.
I feel there is no need for a lot of words as there are so many pictures, and we all know that a picture says more than a 1000 words :-) LOL!

Have a good day everyone!!

HERE is the link to the magazine.

You should have arrived here from the PaperHaus blog.

And of course I have made a little something that I hope will give you som inspiration along the way.

I played around with my Inkido supplies to make this page.
I started out with a plain page with a tiny inconspicious pattern. After using stamps, gesso, masks and Ranger Distress Ink this background is far from plain ;-)

I wanted some chevrons but didn't have any at hand so I decided to make some from some chipboard backing I received a while ago with some goodies. I measured and cut and I am actually thrilled with how they turned out. -Chipboard shapes economy style :-)

I also used my sewing machine quite a lot for this background.
First I stitched all around the edges. Then I made some zig-zagging in some areas along the edge, and finally I made some 'dents' into the sides of the page.

The cute corrugated tag is also from Inkido and it received a treatment with paint and ink before I finally added my title to it. The stickers are textile ones from Prima.

Above you can see the stitching a bit better:

Sunday in a week I will have some step by step photos included in my post at the Inkido blog.

'Viva Las Vegas Stamps' is the sponsor of today's hop

Thanks so much for looking!
Don't forget to leavea comment to be in the draw for our prize!

Your next stop on the hop is the talented Trudi Harison.

Hugs!!

A closer look at my GD page for Scrap Around the World.(And some bragging :-) )

This is the page I made recently as a guest designer for
Inkido was a previous sponsor and we were delighted when Helen asked us to interpret the September mood board. This is such a fun challenge!
I promised I would post some close ups of my page today so here goes .-)

And here is a picture of the mood board and sketch for Gayle's challenge.
Isn't it just gorgeous?!!

I started out taking inspiration from the stripes (background sheet), the words 'flying' out from the head (my butterflies), the large title (also a quote) and the black and white photo of a person.
I also did a loose interpretation of the available sketch, picking just a few  of the elements.

I fussy cut a lot of tiny flowers from one of the sheets in the 'Beautiful Memories' collection.
I believe the flowers are are poppies.

I picked Inkido's  small butterfly stamp  and combined it with some other butterflies that I cut out. They were all embellished with some bling and pearl stones. Inkido do these in several colours and they are so great to add to all kinds of projects.

I find the internet is such a great source when you are searching for various inspiration, and for
this challenge I decided I needed a good quote. This was just one of several quotes that I found.

After cutting out the words with my Silhouette Cameo I backed them with pink paper, except for the words black and white that I wanted to stand out against the background.
As you can see from this close up I also added some freestyle sewing with my machine. I find it adds a lot of interest without being intrusive or  taking anything away from the design.

Talking of design,.... I was very pleased to finf out this page was a winner in the latest challenge over at Scrap & Music. I have hardly taken part in any challenges lately but that is something I would like to change ,.)

Thanks for checking out my page today. :-)
There is still a lot of time to take part in the challenge at SATW, or why not Sabrinas September challenge at Inkido to use layers and borders?

Hugs!
