You should have arrived here from the PaperHaus blog.
And of course I have made a little something that I hope will give you som inspiration along the way.
I played around with my Inkido supplies to make this page.
I started out with a plain page with a tiny inconspicious pattern. After using stamps, gesso, masks and Ranger Distress Ink this background is far from plain ;-)
I wanted some chevrons but didn't have any at hand so I decided to make some from some chipboard backing I received a while ago with some goodies. I measured and cut and I am actually thrilled with how they turned out. -Chipboard shapes economy style :-)
I also used my sewing machine quite a lot for this background.
First I stitched all around the edges. Then I made some zig-zagging in some areas along the edge, and finally I made some 'dents' into the sides of the page.
The cute corrugated tag is also from Inkido and it received a treatment with paint and ink before I finally added my title to it. The stickers are textile ones from Prima.
Above you can see the stitching a bit better:
Sunday in a week I will have some step by step photos included in my post at the Inkido blog.
Don't forget to leavea comment to be in the draw for our prize!
Your next stop on the hop is the talented Trudi Harison.
Hugs!!

ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Day 14 of hopping and you're one of the stops yay! LOVE the background, so much work put into creating it. Sure was worth it, looks so beautiful! What a sweet sweet pattern on the vertical panel, is that Inkido as well?! Clever you making the chevrons yourself, they look fabbo! Hope you're having a smashing weekend. I spent 16 hours yesterday making my first ever mini album. Started out with a plan for a special birthday card but I was on a massive roll and hey presto, suddenly I was making something else. Doesn't happen very often (never in fact) so might as well go with the flow. xoxoxoxo
