Lemoncraft *Fly Away*.

As I mentioned in my previous post I have said good bye to the Lemoncraft team and am cutting down on DT obligations. It feels good and I am looking forward to some well needed extra time.

That said I still have one page more to share with you:

I have used two different collections on this romantic page: Heart Painted and House of Roses.

I fussy cut around the patterned paper t make a frame for the background paper of my page.
I also fussycut some of the rose- and butterfly elements as well as some roses.

The dainty little cage, painted pink for the occation is by Blue Fern Studios and part of a set. I painted it so it would match the dark pink butterfly perfectly.

I have used an array of different flowers here.
The gorgeous, large, open roses are by I am Roses, the Thai manufacturer.

The wooden elements are by Prima Marketing from their Free Spirit collection and I have added a couple. They come in a cute little box with six different designs. An added bonus is that when the box ix empty it serves as a super cute mini shadowbox to be altered.

The flair buttons are by Lemoncraft as well and all the collections have matching designs.
They have a huge variety of other flair buttons in all styles and colours!

That's all for now. Thanks for checking out my page today.
Enjoy the rest of your week end!!

Birthday card for a friend, (Papirdesign).

Her er iallefall kortet mitt:

Hi there! Today I want to share a card made with the latest collection 'Forventning' (means 'Anticipation') from Papirdesign. I have actually made a couple of pages, but cannot share as they will be in my fave online magazine on April 1st. But without further ado; here's my card that I made for a friend:

Og her kommer ett lite närbilde:

And a closeup:

Ennu en gang har jeg kunnet nyte av alle de fine Papirdesign blomstene for mitt prosjekt!

Once again I enjoyed working with loads of gorgeous Papirdesign flowers!

Forcventning: Jacob og Jenny

Last pages from Scraps of Elegance Jan kit using Kaisercraft 'Key to my Heart' and Heidi Swapp 'Mixed Company'

Today I want to share my two last pages made wih the Scraps of Elegance January kit 'Delightful'. The kit is as always jam packed with papers and pretty embellishments and a true 'delight' to work with apart from the suitable name .-)
For the first page I used papers from the  Heidi Swapp collection .......
I cut away paper inside the 'diamonds' to make the design more interesting and individual.
I love how it turned out, and the stitching as well.

I fussy cut flowers from another patterned paper and layered them as an additional embellishment.
I also added a couple of faux tags to get a more layered look, and as a mat for my title.

I had some geraniums in my stash, but they were the wrong colour. I used the paint from the colour add on (Silks; Pink Grapefruit) to change the look of the flower so it would go with my design.

Some of the flowers here (mini roses) are from the Norwegian manufacturer Papirdesign.
I added a little gesso here and there for a more shabby 'aged' look.

This second page was done after the monthly sketch at SOE and I used one half of two different Kaisercraft papers and some elements from the sticker sheet.

I used some of the solid papers from the cardstock add on.
I love the look of my punched holes as part of the sketch design. So simplistic.

I cut off part of the light blue journaling spot as I felt it was too large for me and added the
border piece back on so it would not show :-)

My page is quite simple, but in real life there are a few more touches to it. For example I used
pop dots to raise some page elements to make it more interesting. I backed a couple of
the stickers with cardstock to make them stand out.

The pretty ice blue pearl brads are also in the lovely 'Delightful' January kit at Scraps of Elegance.
Yesterday the February kit was revealed at the SOE blog, and HERE is the link.
Hurry up if you would like to buy the kit because the kit and add ons are selling out
REALLY fast!!

Thanks for visiting and for any comments you may leave.
I so love reading them!!

More Scraps of Elegance 'Delightful' kit using Kaisercraft 'Key to My Heart'.

Before January is finished I'll just hurry up and share a couple more of the pages that I made for Scraps of Elegance kits. The 'Delightful' kit is SOOO full off scrappy goodness!!!
As this was my first month and Christmas as well, I'm later posting this than I would
normally be,...but here goes:

These pages are made with the collection 'Key to My Heart' from Kaisercraft. For this one I used the gorgeous diecut paper from the collection. I cut out the middle part and replaced it with the damask sheet from Echo Park.

I added more flowers to the printed roses in the cornersand used my borderpunches to embellish my page further. I added some butterflies and hearts from the stickersheet.

The second page for today also uses the Kaisercraft papers from the monthly kit but I am focusing more on the blue tones.
I used the 'Silks' paints from the colour add on to paint on my masked gesso.

I cut out the pattern around the edges with my Silhouette cameo.

The sticker sheet from 'Key to My Heart' has a lot of nice words and other designs that come in
very handy.

There is a lot of dimension to my page as you can see.

I just love this picture of my two eldest daughters.
I love most of all that they are such gret friends!

Finally, here you can see how I used the Silks to colour my stencilled dots.

I was going to post all the remaining pages in one post, but I decided that with the close ups it will be too many pictures for one post. I will be back with the rest in a dau or two.

'She's Got the Look' for Inkido

 Hi there!

Nice to see you here!.
I am delighted to tell those of you who have not already heard, that I have been invited back on the Inkido team for a new term and get to work with all the awesome new girls as well as some of my old DT friends.  Actually, at least four of them are my friends on other DT's as well, so that is quite fun! Happy tidings!!

This page was made with inspiration from the mood board for the Inkido January challenge HERE. Go check it out. I was inspired by the light Scandinavian colours and the flowers among other things. What will inspire you?....

I have made so many cards and pages with the beautiful Winter collection from Papercraft Scandinavia; 'Happy Christmas', that when I was sent some different papers for my kit this time I used some immediately. This page was made mainly with 'Beautiful Memories'.(I will add the names of the different papers at the end :-) )

Inkido have some lovely mini roses and other flowers as well as these pretty pink chrystals that I like to add here and there on  my pages.
They come in a multitude of pretty jewelcolours.

The chipboards here are mainly from Australian based Imaginarium Design and has been treated with some paint and a lick of gesso. The white 'brick wall' is chipboard by Wycinanka from Poland. As always there is a lot of layering and stitching on my page . That pretty white lace was also in my DT kit from Inkido.

I adore the whimsy look added by the butterflies strewn all over my page. They are cut from various of the patterned papers and there are many different ones.

A closer look at the stitching that I painted over with gesso.

That was my share for today! I hope you enjoyed it and can take some inspiration
from it. At least let me tell you I had a lot of fun putting it together!

HERE is the link to the magazine.

You should have arrived here from the PaperHaus blog.

And of course I have made a little something that I hope will give you som inspiration along the way.

I played around with my Inkido supplies to make this page.
I started out with a plain page with a tiny inconspicious pattern. After using stamps, gesso, masks and Ranger Distress Ink this background is far from plain ;-)

I wanted some chevrons but didn't have any at hand so I decided to make some from some chipboard backing I received a while ago with some goodies. I measured and cut and I am actually thrilled with how they turned out. -Chipboard shapes economy style :-)

I also used my sewing machine quite a lot for this background.
First I stitched all around the edges. Then I made some zig-zagging in some areas along the edge, and finally I made some 'dents' into the sides of the page.

The cute corrugated tag is also from Inkido and it received a treatment with paint and ink before I finally added my title to it. The stickers are textile ones from Prima.

Above you can see the stitching a bit better:

Sunday in a week I will have some step by step photos included in my post at the Inkido blog.

'Viva Las Vegas Stamps' is the sponsor of today's hop

Thanks so much for looking!
Don't forget to leavea comment to be in the draw for our prize!

Your next stop on the hop is the talented Trudi Harison.

'Time Stood Still' for Inkido (and two challenges) and info about the current theme at Paper Issues.

Time for a new layout as part of the Inkido DT and also time overdue to share about the latest theme over at Paper Issues.

First of all, here is my very latest page using the Beautiful Memories collection.

I started by layering two sheets of pp, one of them embellished with a border around the edges.
After sewing  the pages together I added some gesso through a stencil.

I actually followed TWO sketches to make this page,... yes I know it sounds crazy...
But I had copied from 3 sketch-challenges that I wanted to play along with, and the two next to eachother looked strikingly similar.

The first one: Scrap & Music where you use the sketch and include a line from a specific lyric.
I did not read the rules very closely at first so I originally put another title on my page, but was able to change it for a line from the lyrics instead. :-)

The second one is by Ulrika aka *Lillblomman*, my DT friend from both Papirdesign and Inkido.

Can you see how similar they are..?

And here are some closeups:

The gorgeous bling swirl is actually a lesftover from one byPapirdesign that I already used on one of my PD lo's. And the gorgeous mini roses are from Papirdesign as well. Their flowers have a consistently high quality!

As it was very sunny wnen I photographed my lo I think the colours look a bit faded.
They are actually slightly more saturated IRL.

I am also excited to share with you the fact that Becky Higgins and her PL is sponsoring the current theme over at Paper Issues.
Definitely something to feel happy and proud about!!
She is giving away a Project Life Core Kit which would be so cool to win!!
You can find all the details on the PI blog.
There are also chances to win one of Becky's Project Life sample kits.
