'Hello Summer' for Les Papiers de Pandore.

Hello there, I hope your week is off to a good start!
It feels really great to be here sharing a page with you again.

For a few years now I have been part of the designteam at Les Papiers de Pandore and they always manage to create the most gorgeous collections. One of the fun things about this latest one  (apart from it being gorgeous of course :-D...) is that it is called Scandinavia. Many of you will know that
I live in Sweden , ie one of the Scandinavian countries. I love the names of the different papers.
They are called Stockholm, Göteborg, Uppsala,.....and there is even one with 'my town' Malmö.
Isn't that great!!!?

I picked a few  matching sheets and got to work. I prepared my background with gesso, mists and paints. That is always such fun and decides a whole lot the direction of the page. I cut into some of the papers and layered my design pretty central on my page. The doilies were also fussy cut from one of the sheets. Isn't that bird cute? I cut that one from one of the 15x15 papers in the collection.

In this shot you can see how I covered part of the painted chipboard from Blue Fern Studios with gold microbeads. That is a favourite trend at the moment. Love the micas and the beads a lot!!!
I am also a big fan of the Simple Stories Photo Stickers I used next to my photo. Fun!!

I love the little cursive words that I cut using the Sizzix Thinlits dies by Tim Holtz. It is called Friendship Words, Script. You can find it HERE
The  flowers are from I am Roses and of course Prima Marketing as are the leaves. I added a little washi tape here and there . I love to buy washi but I dont seem to be using a whole lot,....

Finally a closer look at some of the detail I hope you like it!

In any case that's all for today.
I will be back soon with some more Pandore goodness, and other stuff :-)

Celebrate the change of season with Scandinavia collection from Les Papiers de Pandore!

Ok, it's a bit early for my taste to talk about Autumn and Winter yet!! Still there are some good things resulting from the change of seasons,....What a pleasure it is to present  Les Papiers de Pandore's

last collection of the year and my favorite of all: Scandinavia

A wood and textile feeling, and several possible color combos to use this collection fall and winter ...

This kit includes a little more paper than usual as there are two papers sized 20x30 cm as well as stamps, and masks/stencils made in partnership with the Creative Pause.

And as if this was not enough you will get two 38mm flair buttons as well.

-And the  icing on the cake is that you can choose how many papers you want to receive (double or triple..)

Don´t you just love these awesome goodies!!?

I think it's so FUN that all the papers have been named after Swedish
cities, including the one where I live ! :-D

The über-talented Julie Blanc, who is the heart and soul behind the

brand has even prepared a tutorial for this edition of 'Happy Mail'

She is sharing her inspiration through a mini abum in gorgeous
beige / blue / yellow / black denim combo. (Julie decided to save the
red accents for the sesonal projects around Christmas.)

I can´t wait to start creating with this box of Happy Mail, and I can tell you
it's every bit as pretty in reall life!! I will share with you soon! :-)
