Yay, first time entering the Prima product pick challenge. (Tales of You and Me)

Hi there friends!

Finally I have been scrapping up a storm and at last I have something to show you!
This page was made for a challenge on the Prima Marketing blog. At the start of each month I mean to play along with the challenges there, but DT assignmentss have often got in the way.
I have cut down a little on my obligations recently and have more free time and finally made a page
for the Prima Product Picks challenge. (I have posted the mood board below my page.)

A while back I made a post with a few of my favourite new products  from CHA and not
long ago I was able to get my hands on some of the new Prima Marketing goodies.
For this page I used Frank Garcias latest collection called 'Tales of You and Me'. It's gorgeous!!
(I actually bought the 'French Riviera' one as well, but that will be for a different post :-) )

Here is a LINK and a picture of the Prima Marketing product pick mood board:

On my gessoed background I used a lot of colour including Prima Color Bloom sprays, Prima Watercolor pencils and ink. I used several of Finnabairs smaller stamps to create texture.
I love all the different smaller patterns together.

I also got hold of a few die sets by Prima. I got two sets of doilies and a set of pretty leaves.

As you can see I had some fun doing a little fussy cutting from one of the patterned papers
in the collection. I made the title with some coordinating stickers.

I guess you can see from this picture why I love these flowers so much.
These are two different shades of pink and  come from two different packages.
Similar but not the same, They are just the prettiest.....
They come in many shades and are called Bel Canto H <3 <3 <3

A new acquaintance for me are the new Art Stones.
They are quite fun to decorate with and next time I will add colour to them as well.
Here I mixed them with some lovely shiny gold Art Ingredients Mica flakes.

The flair button is from a set by Prima that also came with a stamp.
It's actually from the Jodi Lee 'Princess' collection.

A close up of the textures I created. Lots of yummy layers just the way I like it!!

I hope you enjoyed my entry for the Prima Product pick, ie colour challenge for March.
I am pretty content that I finally got a page in!
Thank you so much for looking!!

New collection from Pandore, 'Carte Postale'.

Today I can finally share with you this beautiful new collection from Julie Blanc and
Les Papiers de Pandore. Apart from the obvious that it is a very attractive collection, it will also
come in handy soon when time comes to scrap all those travel and hooliday photos.

This collection has so many lovely designs and it's going to be pretty hard to choose
what side of the papers to use,... :-) I cannot wait for it to arrive and to see it IRL!!

This is the collection for you if you are looking for something that is great for both
girls and boys pages. Watch this space ... :-)

'Winter' for Les papiers de Pandore.

Hello again!!
I hope the week end has been wonderful and that you have been able to charge those batteries so you are ready for the week ahead! I have been working this week end, so as soon as I get a couple of hours I want to start a new scrappy project! This one here is my latest page and it was made for
Les Papiers de Pandore using the Scandinavia collection.

When I was in the UK visiting with my daughter last year we went shopping (of course) at the local Hobbycraft store and I bought some gold cardstock. I used it here to make some accents for my page.
Both the large snowflakes and the smaller rosette snowflake were made with Sizzix dies.
The larger one is  Sizzix Bigz die Stacked Snowflakes by Tim Holtz and the smaller one is by
Paula Pascual and called Winter Borders and Rosette.

I added some of Prima Finnabair's gold mica flakes and gold micro beads. I even used some Color Bloom in gold  for extra golden accents and drops.

The cute little wooden accent  Be Free is by Prima and the round gold-rimmed tag is by
American Crafts. I added some liquid pearl dots here and there ,-in gold of course :-P
I hope you like my black and golden Winter page and that I'll see you here soon again!
Take care!

'Hello Summer' for Les Papiers de Pandore.

Hello there, I hope your week is off to a good start!
It feels really great to be here sharing a page with you again.

For a few years now I have been part of the designteam at Les Papiers de Pandore and they always manage to create the most gorgeous collections. One of the fun things about this latest one  (apart from it being gorgeous of course :-D...) is that it is called Scandinavia. Many of you will know that
I live in Sweden , ie one of the Scandinavian countries. I love the names of the different papers.
They are called Stockholm, Göteborg, Uppsala,.....and there is even one with 'my town' Malmö.
Isn't that great!!!?

I picked a few  matching sheets and got to work. I prepared my background with gesso, mists and paints. That is always such fun and decides a whole lot the direction of the page. I cut into some of the papers and layered my design pretty central on my page. The doilies were also fussy cut from one of the sheets. Isn't that bird cute? I cut that one from one of the 15x15 papers in the collection.

In this shot you can see how I covered part of the painted chipboard from Blue Fern Studios with gold microbeads. That is a favourite trend at the moment. Love the micas and the beads a lot!!!
I am also a big fan of the Simple Stories Photo Stickers I used next to my photo. Fun!!

I love the little cursive words that I cut using the Sizzix Thinlits dies by Tim Holtz. It is called Friendship Words, Script. You can find it HERE
The  flowers are from I am Roses and of course Prima Marketing as are the leaves. I added a little washi tape here and there . I love to buy washi but I dont seem to be using a whole lot,....

Finally a closer look at some of the detail I hope you like it!

In any case that's all for today.
I will be back soon with some more Pandore goodness, and other stuff :-)
