The May sketch from Blue Fern Studios and a page using the beautiful new Déjà Vu collection.

I am sure many of you hve already seen and admired the new papers, stamps, and chipboards belonging to the new Déjà Vu collection designed by Michelle Singh for Blue Fern Studios.
I love the soft tones of light yellowy vanilla, lavender and springy pink.

It's easy to create both a vintage project or one with  a romantic shabby chic feel to it
with this feminine collection.

As you see I tried to keep the design pretty simple and just let the papers and a few embellishments take center stage. It is no secret I am a fan of lilac lavender, and purple and will gladly combine these colours with a soft yellow. I love how the flowers go so well with the papers.

Can you see the tiny tiny pearls (by Prima Marketing) that I added to the lamppost- chipboard and also to some of the green leaves. I like the added texture they give.
I added some neutral coconut fibers here and there to lighten up the design.

In this shot you can see the different layers of my page.
I softly distress all the edges by hand before assembling the papers.

Most of the gorgeous small blooms here are by the Norwegian brand Papirdesign and they have a really huge assortment of paper flowers. I love them!!

After adding my flowers to where I wanted them I gave them a lick of white paint to
'shabby them up' a little. ;-)

I hope you like the new Déjà Vu collection as much as I do and also that you take some
inspiration from what I made with it.

Here is a picture of the stamp set I used as well:

And last but not least;...
Here is the beautiful sketch that is our challenge for the lovely month of May!!

Look HERE to see the challenge-post and to see what my fellow DT members created :-)

Take care!

Something blue for Lemoncraft.

Hi there. This is turning out to be some seriously beautiful Springafternoon!!
I shouldn't really be inside, but I am trying to get the last things sorted before I move to my new appartment in a couple of days.! I still have not caught up as far as posting my projects here
so I thought I'd share a page I did for Lemoncraft a little while back.

I used papers from the lovely and delicate 'Forget Me Not' collection that is predominantly a gorgeous blue colour. It's got beautiful flowery patterns as well. It's a favourite :-)

I used a die that Tim Holtz designed for Sizzix to make the rosette flower (below) and did some cute paper rolling to add some extra interest to my page. Some of the pretty flowers are sold by Lemoncraft and others are by Prima or Papirdesign.

The chipboard title and other bits here are by Blue Fern Studio and I treated them with some paint, mist and gesso. On top I added some liquid pearls.

I am a very big fan of the stecil that Finnabair made for Prima. It's like a mini checkerbpoard. I could use it on almost all my pages,...( and probably do,..lol!)

Stickers are by Papirdesign., but October Afternoon make similar ones.
What's so great with these are that they have all the odd and special letters you'll find in the Scandinavian alphabet and that's just so cool!!

That was all for now!!
I hope you like this and thanks for any comm ents in advance.
I love to read your little messages! :-)

Take care!!

''Art chain'', Day 1 showcasing some fave pages etc made for Papirdesign.

Hi, I hope you are all well!
...Still Winter here even if we are starting to experience a few tiny signs that Spring will come to Sweden even this year...Birds are singing and the days are slowly getting longer.

One of the fun things happening at this moment to brighten up the cold grey days are the many posts on FB, Instagran  and on blogs showcasing beautiful artwork as part of  ''Artchain''.

I have been nominated by a few sweet friends;
Anupama Choudary from India,  Stephanie Papin from France  and Kathy Mosher from Alaska.
All these ladies do inspirational work as well as are real sweethearts!

I thought that since I did not find time in January to make a post sharing my favourite pages for 2014  (nor 2013 actually :-D ) I would post a few favourites each day for the five days that I'm supposed to do the ''Artchain''.

Today I have focused on pages that I made for  Papirdesign

Decorated card and cupcake for a birthday celebration for Sizzix/Papirdesign

Looksie what I found,....
A couple of posts that I prepared but never got round to publishing.
This one was combining Sizzix dies and Papirdesign papers.
I must say I am very partial to the purple!!

The die I used is the Tattered florals die by Tim Holtz and I think it is probably the die that has been sold most of all.... And if it wasn't, at least I think it should find a home with all of you!!

'Grattis' is Swedish for Congratulations. I used the small rosette die to make the little holder for the mini cupcake as well as for the little decoration on a tooth pick.

The green leaves were made using the Tattered leaves die, also by Tim Holtz for Sizzix.
I used a needle to scratch into them to make them look more natural.

Thanks for looking! Hugs!

At the end of the post you will find an  explanation in English

For the first card I used the new patterned papers from 'Stille Natt'.

Christmas card with St. Nick for Sizzix and a christmas wish list for November challenge at Papirdesign,

Don't you just love this Santa image!!

I think it's the epitome of Christmas symbols. It's a new Tim Holtz Bigz die and so fun to work with.

Lets start with the background,... I used a bought cardbase thet was 15 cm square. I cut out a 14 cm square piece of subtly patterned cardstock. To add some more interest to my simple background I wanted to emboss this piece. It was actually to large for my embossing folder, but being a bit careful I placed the bit thet had not been embossed in the folder and embossed again. It turned out quite pretty.

After cutting out he pieces for the Santa I used two different shades of chalk inkers to add some depth to them.

I backed my embossed piece with some red cardstock to pull it all together and added a small snowflake as an extra accent. I inked the snowflake carefully embellished it with a half pearl and some liguid pearl medium.

I hope you like this Santa as much as I do.
It's a Bigz die and to me that is always an added bonus!!

Take care!!

I used these dies:

And finally a shot of what I made for the

'My Happy face' for Papirdesign.

Hello all my scrapbooking friends! I hope you are well!
Today I have a page to show you that I  made for the Norwegian manufacturer Papirdesign a little while ago.
It features a recent picture of me (gasp,...) taken by the multitalented Paula Pascual when we met at the Sizzix HQ this Summer. I don't usually scrap myself and I know I should really do it more often.

I really like this picture. Of course I look far better in the photo than IRL but I don't mind LOL!
We were three girls having a fun photo shoot with Paula and she is such a great photographer :-)

I am afraid that the colours in the first picture are a bit off . I tried to correct them but not very successfully. I think it's the gesso that do it. It's far less prominent in real life.

The gorgeous flowers here are part of the new collection by Papirdesign and Line does really have an incredible selection. Lots of lovely colours and shapes to choose from.
-And did you know that soon you'll be able to buy wooden shapes and sayings, too? Soo cool!

I love to combine different sizes and shapes of flowers. It can sometimes be a challenge, but with so many to choose from this was a breeze :-)

I made this page after a sketch by fellow team mate Ulrika over at the Papirdesign blog.
Even though it's a little late to take part in the challenge you can see the original post HERE.

I hope to be back soon to share some more. I have so much that I have not shared here yet.
So little time so much to do,...if you know what I mean:-)

Tomorrow I'll have a new post up for the Sizzix  DT sharing something I made with
my favourite dies!

Take care and thanks for popping in to see me today!

'At the Lighthouse' for Papirdesign.

Hi there friends!
Today I want to share a new page with a couple of the latest collections from Norwegian manufacturer Papirdesign.
Thiose of you who are followers of Papirdesign on Facebook will have seen some pictures of the latest collection from the fair and I can tell you they are just as pretty in real life :-)

The lovely blue tones look pretty with this picture taken by my lovely sister on a recent holiday here. I picked the orange from my t-shirt in the picture and must say that to me it's a winning combination! :-)

For this page I found that the set with summerbuttons is perfect and of course even here the colour is a great match!

To add to the seaside feeling of my page I glued down a couple of punched pappers strips. I think they look a little like waves,...don't you? Extra added details are the diecut Frameworks Trellies and the leaves from a Framelits set from Sizzix.

Thanks for looking in! Hope I'll see you here again soon!

I have used
Marias Verden-Gaver
Lille Mirakel
Blue roses,
blueand white miniroses,

chipboardstar,
alphabets,orange

A shabby page for Papirdesign and Sizzix.

For this page I managed to combine assignments for two DT's and I just love that! Mostly when you are on DT's you receive a lot of beautiful supplies and 'crossfertilization' benefits both parts as there will inevitably be a larger audience for both. On the occations that I manage to do that I feel quite content! :-)

I started out with two sheets of pretty paper from Papirdesign.
Here are some shots of how I made the background:

Here is a step by step description:

1. I started by prepping my background with gesso and then modeling paste.
2. When dry I sprayed with two different colours of mist.
3. I cut and distressed strips of papers and arranged them on my page. I then stitched them in place.
4. I used the Frameworks die to cut three pieces from corrugated cardboard that I painted with gesso.
5. I I cut and assembled some Tattered florals and Tattered leaves.
6. I die cut  my photo with the ovals die set and also some white Bazzil to back it.
7. I arranged and glued down all my elements and added the title.

Without being biased I believe the Sizzix Bigz dies are the most versatile dies on the market.
They will actually cut almost anything and are such a joy to work with.
Today I upcycled an old cardboardbox that I received some scrapbook supplies in.
The Bigz die cut through it 'like butter'. And I was left with a beautiful piece that looks like thick chipboard (for free....! ).

When talking about favourite supplies,... Have you tried the Prima Color Bloom sprays yet?
They are by far my favourites. With all my other mists I always have to start by declogging  them. These will work at the first attempt.
I have got a few colours but will definitely be stocking up on some more !

I used one of the Susan's Garden tools to scratch a pattern into the leaves to make them more dimensional.

And then just one more close up :

Thanks for dropping by!
