'My first Home' for Blue Fern Studios.

Recently I posted a few pages on the Blue Fern Studios blog.
I was in the UK last week celebrating my eldest daughters graduation from university and must admit I am a little behind wity posting my projects here on my own personal blog,....But here is one of them !!

This page is based upon a pink paper from the Montage collection.
On top is a paper from the Deja Vu collection. As yo can see the collections mix very well.
-Especially when you add a litttle mixed media here and there. :-)
I 'framed' the whole page with the largest sized Graduated Squares, painted white then inked around.

The gorgeous piece of chipboard below the picture is one of the recent shapes and called
Rock Wall Bits. I painted it beige, stamped on it and added some pink glitter.
The part of the Grunge Frames chipboard piece visible above the photo was given the same treatment.
I just love to add glitter to my pages at the moment :-)

The cute small dots scattered all over my page are the insides of then alpha stickers that I used.

Finally a better look at the Prima resin by Ingvild Bolme. It is such  a beautiful and decorative piece!!

That was all for now, Hope you feel a little bit inspired and that I'll  see you here again soon!
Take care!

'Hello Sunshine' for Les Papiers de Pandore.

Time for one more of my summery pages or Les Papiers de Pandore.
I am actually up on the French blog today as well and would love you to chek out the
Pandore blog too if you have time :-) There are so many lovely projects to look at!!

The current collections/Happy Mail are so fresh and feel very current. I love the beautiful designs and colours of them. I have usede 'Sunny Bay' and 'Cocktail' here.

I used the Blue Fern Studios Directions chipboards and you can see it HERE. I painted the pieces
a soft seafoam colour.

I used one of the badges as a centerpoint for my cluster. I cut the leaves with my Silhouette and the chipboard is part of the same set by Blue fern Studios.

The many project life-styl cards are so cute and makes it so easy to embellish the page.

Aren't the colours just super pretty!!?

And finally a closie of how I layered my more 'clean and simple' page.

Thank you for looking!! :-)

A page using Urbex (Happy Mail) by Les Papiers de Pandore.

A while ago I received the Happy Mail Box from Les Papiers de Pandore.
I think it's just gorgeous, actually.I posted a picture on my blog as it was revealed and you can see it HERE:

Here is my first example.
I have been a bit low on mojo, but I have another one to share with you soon.
I love the clean lines of this collection.

I used a die cut that I made with my Silhouette as a background and layered on some of the papers of  the 15x15 collection. I think the light blue planks of this paper look so wonderful. Perfectly shabby!

I like the fun theme of photography of this collection and decided to put some of my Sizzix dies to good use. They have a few dies with cameras and this one is called You & Me (659780). You can see this set HERE.

The lovely chipboardframe that I painted yellow is by Blue Fern studios and part of a set of three in different sizes. You can see them HERE.

I added a few mini roses and enamel dots by Papirdesign to add some extra feminine flair, as well as a little paint and some small splats of colour here and there.

I have used paper and badge from the Urbex collection.

Thanks for looking! :)

A couple of Inkido shares.....

This is was the page that I made for my recent post on the Inkido blog. I enjoyed myself mixing a few different collections, old and new. I find they mix well as the designs  are mostly feminine and the colours mostly matcth beautifully.

Here are some photos with closeups of my details.

I cut out the sweet vintage picture from one of the patterned papers. And I used my Silhouette
Cameo for the lamp-post diecut.

We also had a Love/Valentines feature on the Inkido blog a couple of days agoand my contribution was a set of mixed media tags:

I used gesso, ink and stamping to add texture to my tags.
I painted some of the stamped butterflies with 'Silks' colour Pink Grapefruit.

And here are a few shots of the tags individually.

I am so happy to see you today and I hope you're having a have a lovely day!! <3

''Love Winter, Love the Birds''

 Hi friends!
Today I have a page for you that I actually made with the latest Summer release from
Les Papiers de Pandore. Just have a peek and see that they are great for this coming season too.
I love the subtle colours here. I made this page a couple of months ago but as it was published in PaperHaus Magazine I had to wait for a while before sharing it on my blog.

I cut some stars from the yellow houndstooth paper and added some gorgeous glitter chipboards from Papirdesign.  They are simply beautiful!!

Once again I had a lot of fun cutting out a few things with my Silhouette cameo. I think it is a great tool, but I seem to go through the mats at high speed...

As always (or almost) I used my sewing machine to stitch around most of my pieces.

The cute flowers that are such a great colour to these papers are also made by Papirdesign and
brand new for this season.

Finally a close up of my title that I stitched to the background paper. And alphabetstickers once again from papirdesign. They do these in lots of different colours and with the scandinavian letters that cannot be found with other brands.

Thanks for looking and welcome back soon again!
Hugs!!

Getting in the advent spirit with this page.

Hi,it's me Bente here to share one of my latest pages for Inkido.

I hope to find you relaxed and well and enjoying your weekend.
Unfortunately this will be a rather short and sweet post as my regular Internet is down and I find myself writing my post on my mobile phone for the first time....

Ok, here is my layout, and I am
sorry I have not been able to edit my photos much.....

I used the lovely 'Happy Christmas' for this and added quite a few inkido flowers to embellish.

Here are a couple of close ups too:

I took a few pictures of my creative process but those are on my DSLR and I cannot get them transferred just now,but maybe I can add them as soon as I get my connection back. :-)
I very much enjoyed stencilling with the gold medium and also making the stars with gesso.

The burgundy geraniums match this collection beautifully.

I used the olive package of Harmony flowers. I just love that dark green glittered bloom. Soo lush!

I made the sweet green vine wreath by cutting the pretty green music paper of the Happy Christmas collection with my Silhouette Cameo. The Santa tag was also cut from one of the patterned papers.

Again, sorry for the 'crappy' photos!
Hope to see you soon again!!
