DT work for combo at Les Papiers de Pandore

Earlier this month there was a post up on the Pandore blog sharing a few pages made by DT members for a pretty new colour combination.
 This is my page here:
A inspiration for my page I used this latest sketch from Sketchabilities:

And here is the beautiful colour combo:

For the grey colour I used a special technique for a relief patterned background.
Using my new Cameo I cut several scalloped borders and making them overlap  I glued them to my page underneath the photo.
The titleword 'Remember' and the speechbubble 'I love you' were also made with the Silhouette. Flowers are mostly from Prima and Papirdesign.

I sewed the title to my page. I find that works so well when the title is less bulky like here.

The green canvas banner is by Prima and come plain off white. I used a mist by Studio Calico
to add the right green colour to it.

 That's all for now.
The upcoming week will be quite a busy one with the week-long PaperHaus bloghop starting on
June 1st and my turn to post on my DT blogs coming up as well in the next days....
So I'll have plenty to share soon!

Combo du 20 fevrier. 'Cool' for Pandore

Hi
Today I have a lo for you that I made as an example for the current colour challenge over at Les Papiers de Pandore. I used the latest collection 'Lovely Birds' as well as the white  (now misted) background sheet from 'Promenons Nous' and the pink from 'En Attendent'.

I must confess this lo turned out a little 'messier' than I had planned but sometimes that's the way of things in the crafty world,...LOL! Some things can not be controlled :-)

I actually had some fun with this one using all the mediums and masks.
I even made a tiny rolled flower, which I haven't done in a long time.

The string framing my photo was white originally, but I poured some paint into my hand and rubbed the string in it to change the colour....-See, I told you I had fun...  Now my hands are all pink!

Almost all papers have been stitched to my page. I usually put a dash of glue in the middle to keep them in place,-but far from the edges so as not get my sewing machine all clogged up.

The chipboard cogs/clock is from Imaginarium Designs and I gave it a lick of white paint and some blue ink before sticking it to my page.

I used lots of punches here from Martha Stewart and EK Success.
I've wanted one of those notebook punches from EK Success for the longest time and now I have both the one making round holes and the one making square ones.

I'm happy you came by to have a look at my latest page and thanks so much for any comments you feel like leaving me. They are greatly appreciated!
Hugs!!

A card for the new combo at Pandore

As always around the 20th of the month there is a new colour combo at Les Papiers de Pandore.
This time I decided to make a quick card.

And here is the inspiration photo with the colours:

Most of my elements here are die cut from Pandore papers or cut from the patterns like the butterfly.

All the patterned papers have different strips at the bottom and I used one of those to make my paper ribbon. I think that music-notes pattern is so cute.

I simply formed the strip into a ribbon shape and stapled in place before glueing it to the brown circle.

I am off to do some more work now. I am having some difficulty getting around to as many of your blogs and commenting as I would like as I am having some internet-trouble again....
Mostly surfing on the IPad works but commenting does not work very well!!
Hoefully I will soon find a way to fix it and I'll be back!
Hugs!
