A layout with 'Lovely Birds' collection, *Be true to You*

I have been having some fun recently using some of the newer collections from
Les Papiers de Pandore. It is great to see that the many collections mix and match so well that they could almost be parts of the same one.

This photo was taken a few weeks ago at the beach near here. We had been celebrating Victoria's graduation and together with my sister and her family visiting from Denmark we decided on an outing. We all had a good and the kids enjoyed their day at the beach.

The flowers here are by Petaloo and Prima Marketing as well as some mini roses from Papirdesign.
I just adore these Thickers by American C5raft. I have been wanting them for ages, and yayyy! Finally I could buy them from Cassie at Paper Issues
I really recommend her new store!!

Thank you so much for dropping by!!

Projects I did for the Summer issue of PaperHaus Magazine.

I have a lo and a card to share with you that I made for the PaperHaus Magazine, Summer Issue.
It was made as an example for the PaperHues section.
I'll admit I actually found the colours quite hard to combine. At first I made a pure mixed media layout but didn't like the way it turned out. You could say it was 'too much mix and not enough media'. I tore it to shreds and was honestly a bit worried I would miss the deadline with just a day or so to go.... But I managed.... :-)

And here are a few close ups:

And I had a card in the CardHaus section prepared after the latest sketch:

I am just  a couple of weeks from the deadline for the next PaperHaus magazine which will be in celebration of our first birthday! I am certainly going to be busy this coming week!

Hugs!!

A published lo to share. :-)

Hi it's me again!
Today I found this among some older photos I was looking on my computer today.
I had almost forgotten about it :-)

This layout was published in the previous issue of Swedish scrapbook magazine Inzpira.
I was delighted to be included in the mag as I am not one to send in applications very often.
I think this was only my second time.
( I tried once with a lo for Scrapbook Trends, even if I knew my style was not theirs,... :-) )
I made this one for  musical theme and also after a sketch in that issue.

Here are a few close ups:

I cut the leaves from gold cardstock and also added some gold paint here and there on my page.
I white-washed the little frame for my title with gesso and smeared on a little gold to give it a more vintage look.

I used a mask with gesso to build up the background and I also added a small dash of pink mist
as well as gold arrows. The red chevrons and the teal strips are washi tapes.

Finally, a closer inspection of my 'edge-ruffles' if I may call them that.
I cut several strips and work on each one of them to achieve this distressed look.

Thanks for dropping by and thanks for your kind messages!
Hugs!

The patterned papers and the flair button I used are from the previous and current collections from the French manufactureres Les Papiers de Pandore.

Hopefully we will see many projects linked up for this issue.

'Milano Shopping' for Les papiers de Pandore, 'Itineraire Bis'.

Recently I received the two new collections from Les Papiers de Pandore in my hand and they are really pretty!! Today's  page is made mostly with the large papers of  'Itineraire Bis' as well as some papers from the 15x15cm mini pack papers of the travel collection. .

And here are you can get a closer look at some of the details!!

The photos were taken in Milan.
Some of you may know that together with a friend co-own and run a small company selling fashion accessories. We buy most of what we sell on quite frequent trips to Milan and Frankfurt. These photos were taken a few years back when my two eldest daughters came with us on one of our trips.

I hope you like what I came up with!
On Sunday I will be back with another Pandore page that I made for an upcoming blog hop.
I hope to see you again then.Welcome back !!

Inkido sponsoring OUAS 'Grow Through Life'

Hi, I thought it was high time that I posted a new layout here! I have a few pages done but with Summer finally here I get less inclined to  post anything here on my slightly neglected blog,...lol!
For the month of July Inkido is sponsoring the sketch challenge blog Once Upon a...Sketch and the DT girls are guest designing over there using Inkido products.

    This is my page:
I stuck pretty close to the sketch but changed te scale a bit.

    Journalling Theme: "Grow"

Please remember it is very important to journal according to the prompt.
I journalled on the back of my page about my thoughts about the future for my God-daughter who is in the photo.

    Here are some closeups:

I used the 'Beautiful Memories' collections from Inkido for my page.
I hope you love the papers as much as I do! The gorgeous blooms are the pink set of 'Harmony Flowers' from Inkido and also by Prima.
I have used some pretty mini roses from Papirdesign as well.

'First Ice cream' for DT Papirdesign.

I received a visit by my nephews from Denmark and took the opportunity to get some photographs of them as I don't have many boys to scrap here at home :-)
Still, I could not help myself and added a lot of flowers anyway!!LOL!

I cut up one of the gorgeous PD chrystal swirls here and used it in bits.
I also used both the star chipboards and the title ones.
The word 'Töffing' means something like 'Tough guy', but not in the violent sense :-)

I love that Papirdesign has got all the 'exotic' vowels that we need for our Scandinavian words.

I tied a ribbon from lace and added a few of the Papirdesign mini roses.

That's all from me today! I hope you feel a bit inspired and that the lucky ones who have them will pull out your Papirdesign products and get scrapping.
    Hugs!

    Klem!
