More 'Floral fantasy' from Scraps of Elegance / FabScraps

Hi friends! It's getting a little late here but I realized I have to do a  post now to make good use of the fact that the internet is actually working att the moment :-)

I have another page and a couple of cards to share from Scraps of Elegance latest kit  'Floral Fantasy'. I have already used quite a few of the abundant Graphic 45 sheets from the kit and this page uses the FabScraps collection 'French heirloom'. The large cabbage roses on the papers are so exquisite!!

This is  a very layered page with soo many fussy cut elements and I have raised all the cut-out roses
with pop dots to emphasize both the layering and the texture.
I also embellished with lots of tiny Bisque-coloured pearls from a small bottle of liquid pearls.

The gorgeous flowers are from Prima Marketing and are called Adelynn/Ageless.
They are in the beautiful flower add on. I have pre-ordered it to make sure I don't miss out as these add ons sell out quickly!!

I love the trellis design of the green burlap papers. It lends itself to the interesting look of cutting away a few of the 'diamond shapes' to reveal a different colour. I like how it lightens the mood a bit on these  papers soo laden with grandeur of yonderyears.

I used some Prima alpha stickers from my stash for the title.
I made it fairly simple as the papers were enough in themselves. I remember so well all the
magical fun we had spreading dandelion seeds all over the garden :-)

I raised all the fussy cut elements with popsdots for a layered and textured page.

I also made two cards with this kit.
The papers on these are by Graphic 45 and are called 'Botanical Tea'.

The flower on the card is the same kind as those on the layout an the stickers as well.

The large journaling cards and the stamps are cut out from the different patterned papers.

That was all for now!! I hope you liked what you saw and if you have the kit; Happy Creating!!
Hugs!!

'Family Fun' Scraps of Elegance using Graphic 45 Botanical Tea.

Hi peeps and happy 'hump day'. From here on it's just a downhill ride to the weekend.
Today I want to share one of my pages that I did using the Graphic 45 collection 'Botanical Tea'
that was in my latest DT kit from awesome Scraps of Elegance.
I have shared a couple of pages already in some previous posts here and the kit has sooo much more left for me to create with! If you are interested in subscribing to a kit look HERE.

This is what I made:

The resin bannister is from the embellishment add on. I fussy cut a lot of flowers from the beautiful patterned papers. and also added some mini roses from Papirdesign and from Prima.

The photo is from an outing last summer when my sister and niece came to visit and we wanted to do something fun for all of us. We went to ride a kind of tandem bike on old (no longer in use) railroad tracks. It was really so much fun. I want to do it again this summer!!

The pink gardnia used to be white, but I painted it with the Silks 'Pink Grapefruit' from a previous kit.

I added a large blue bow to tie together the small blue accents here and there on my page.

Here is a shot of the February kit.
Unfortunately the main kit is sold out but you may be able to get some of the add ons still.

So happy you came over today to have a peek at my latest page. Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday!!

Hugs!

One more page with the Scraps of Elegance March kit using the 'Botanical Tea' collection.

The other day I shared the very first page that I ever made using Graphic 45 papers.
I always think their lines look lovely but up until now I have found them quite difficult to use
and hard to cut into (because they are so pretty).
With the recent line 'Botanical Tea', however, all those thoughts disappeared. As usual Melinda Kelly of SOE kits have picked an excellent collection of papers and embellishments and the kit, Floral Fantasy, is such a delight to work with! You can see the photos of the kit here and also buy it  HERE.

I fussy cut various elements from the detailed G45 papers and added a few dimensional flowers to go with them. In the flower add on was a large Prima jute flower that I coloured using some paint from a previous kit. I used the Silks 'Pink Grapefruit' paint.

In the kit was also a sheet with small diecut file folders and patterned tags to go with them.
Some of them have sentiments on them like this one that says 'Just because'.
The large white flower is by Manor House Creations.

I think the papers here go so well with the sweet picture of our pampered kitten Lady. She has such beautiful green eyes. And also I do love polka dots and these on green are especially cute!
I raised some of the details with pop dots.

I used a CraftersWorkshop stencil 'Chicken Wire' size 6x6 for my background and the mini roses are by various, including papirdesign and I am Roses.

Even though it is raining here at the moment there is a distinct promise of Spring in the air.
The temperature has been slowly rising and today, Saturday, is longer and lighter than yesterday.
It is so nice to know that the sun 'has turned' as we say here and that hopefully the best is yet to come!

Thanks for visiting here today!
I am thrilled for every little comment you feel like leaving me here and hopefully you were able to find a detail or two to inspire you! Any questions are welcome.
